Regent Alaskan Cruises
are some of the most popular luxury cruise holiday vacations that are available
to and from this last frontier wilderness called Alaska. Taking any of
these great Regent Alaskan Cruises in 2012 or 2013 will enable you to set sail
in luxury and comfort and then see the remarkable sights and animals that call
this land their home. Elegance and beauty will surround you on the Regent
Navigator as you sail from one intimate port to the next. Some of the
ports and towns that you may be able to visit on any of these Regent Alaskan
2012 Cruises could include stops at Ketchikan, Tracy Arm, Juneau, Skagway, Sitka
and several others.
Regent Alaskan Cruises gives you plenty
of time on your Alaskan Cruise for discovery and exploration of the many great
places and shore excursions that you will find available in Alaska. The
Regent Navigator is a small luxury ship and does not cater to the thousands of
people that may be on other Alaskan Cruise ships. The Regent experience
calls for small and intimate sailings as well as small and intimate shore
excursions and experiences. Go off the beaten path and see the bears,
eagles, salmon and other Alaskan wildlife up close and personal.
There are many great reasons to see and
visit Alaska but with any of these great Regent Alaskan 2013 or 2012 Cruises,
you are sure to see the best of the best in style, comfort and luxury when
sailing on the Regent Navigator. You will find that taking the Navigator
will allow you to pay one price for your voyage and most shore excursions so
that you do not have to worry about being nickel and dimed at every turn during
your cruise. Regent has been a true innovator in the luxury cruise market
and with their one price pays all, this is a real all-inclusive cruise. No
gimmicks or tricks.
When is the best time to visit and see
this wonderful frontier wilderness? In our opinion, we prefer late
June or
July. Why? We have found that this time of the year will give the
salmon plenty of time to get moving and become active. When the Salmon
become active, so does all the other animals and birds in Alaska. The
Salmon are a major source of food so when the fish are moving you will find the
bears moving and this allows for a much happier trip when you can see these huge
animals up close. The weather is about the same during these middle summer
months but it all comes down to our preference and we like June and July.
We have taken a
May Alaskan Cruise
before and enjoyed the many days of beauty and sailing but, the animals were not
moving like they were when we went on a June Alaskan Cruise or even our July
Alaskan Cruise voyage. Depending on what shore excursions you decide to
take will also have a lot to do with seeing large animals in the wild.
Some of the best ways to see the big bears and other large animals is by taking
a helicopter trips. They offer a wide variety of great shore excursions,
but, you need to book early to get the best ones.
